Pep Guardiola, coach of Manchester City, expressed his happiness at his team's victory over Real Madrid and qualifying for the Champions League final.
"I had a good feeling and today all the pain of losing the semi-finals last season is gone because it was bitter," Guardiola said on BN Sports.
"The team was calm and conscious that we can achieve this achievement," he added.
And he continued, "At the Santiago Bernabeu, we put an offensive midfielder, and also in today's match, he played in his normal position, but we changed a simple matter and succeeded on the field, and the result proves that."
And he continued, "We played many times at a good level, but this time is different because this is the Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid."
The Spanish coach continued his remarks, "We have not thought about the final yet. On Sunday, we have an important match in the English Premier League, and after that we start thinking about the Champions League final."
And he stressed, "We must win titles. We have one match ahead of us and win the English Premier League for the third season in a row, and one match and win the FA Cup, and one match and win the Champions League."
And he concluded his remarks, "I am very happy and everyone here is happy in this club."
Today, Wednesday, Manchester City defeated Real Madrid at the Etihad Stadium, with four unanswered goals, in the second leg of the Champions League semi-finals.
City qualified for the Champions League final after winning the two matches with five goals to one.
