Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer spoke words that the Italian press considered a hint regarding his team's tactics to face Inter Milan in the Champions League.
Neuer said in a press statement: "Inter is a smart team and defends well, but I think they will go out to play more than Union Berlin (the last match for Bavarian in the league)."
"This way we can steal the ball in the middle of the field and it will be a shorter distance to the opponent's goal."
Bayern Munich is in the "group of death" in the Champions League, along with Barcelona, Inter Milan and Victoria Plzen.
Bayern Munich started its season with a usual strength, defeating RB Leipzig in the Super Cup 5-3, then beating Eintracht Frankfurt 6-1, Wolfsburg 2-0 and Bochum 7-0.
But in the last two matches, the team drew 1-1 with Borussia Moenchengladbach and Union Berlin.
And while Inter had a clear defensive solidity last season, winning the Italian Cup and the Super Cup, this season showed some problems in the Nerazzurri.
Inter kept one clean sheet when they beat Spezia 3-0, while suffering two defeats in the first 5 rounds at the hands of Lazio and Milan.
Bayern will host Inter on Wednesday, while Viktoria Plzen will visit Barcelona.
