Fikayo Tomori has agreed to renew his contract with Milan for 5 seasons.
The English defender had joined Milan in January 2021 on loan from Chelsea, and Milan activated his purchase contract permanently after the end of the season.
According to the English newspaper "The Times", Tomori will receive a higher salary, linking him to the Rossoneri shirt for a longer period.
Tomori's current contract expires in the summer of 2025.
According to the Italian "Calciomercato" website, Tomori's agents met with Milan officials, today, Wednesday, at the club's headquarters.
The two parties reached an agreement to extend the defender's contract until 2027, with an increase in his salary from two million euros to 3.5 million euros, in addition to bonuses.
Milan wants to keep its defender, who has received interest from several clubs in the English Premier League.
Tomori played 62 matches for Milan, scored two goals, and led the team to the Italian league title for the first time in 11 years.
