Brighton defender Marc Cucurea has completed his agreement with Chelsea during the current summer transfer market, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Romano indicated that Cucurea agreed on personal terms with the Blues last Monday and will spend a six-year contract worth 52.5 million euros.
He added that the player will arrive in London tomorrow for a medical examination.
Cucurea, 24, was a target for the English Premier League champions Manchester City this summer.
But what stopped this deal was the closing of the door to negotiations by Brighton, who will not sell the player to City until he offers the asking price, which is 50 million pounds.
Cucurea, 24, is a graduate of the La Masia Academy in Barcelona, through which Guardiola succeeded in producing many players who became stars during his training for the Spanish team.
Cucurea participated in the past season with Brighton in 38 games, during which he scored one goal and two assists.
