Roma have officially announced the signing of Jorginho Wijnaldum from Paris Saint-Germain.
This came on a one-year loan, with the right to buy at the end of the season.
According to the “Football Italy” website, the purchase condition is equal to an amount between 8 and 9 million euros.
Also, a purchase becomes mandatory if Roma finish in one of the top four during the season.
While Paris Saint-Germain pays 50% of the Dutch player's salary, estimated at 9.5 million euros.
Wijnaldum joined Paris on a free transfer from Liverpool last summer.
The Dutch star did not succeed in establishing his feet as one of the fixed pillars, so his role declined and he preferred to leave, especially after Paris signed Renato Sanchez from Lille.
Thus, Wijnaldum becomes Roma's fifth deal this summer, led by Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho.
Wolves signed Serbian midfielder Nemanja Matic for free at the end of his contract with Manchester United.
He also signed Argentine playmaker Paulo Dybala for free at the end of his contract with Juventus.
The same applies to Serbian goalkeeper Mel Svilar, Benfica's Portuguese goalkeeper, whose contract has expired.
As for the only paid deal, Turkish full-back Zaki Celik came from French Lille for 7 million euros.
