English club Everton announced today, Tuesday, the inclusion of Belgian international midfielder Amadou Onana to its ranks, coming from French Lille, with a contract that extends until June 2027.
Everton did not reveal the financial value of the deal, but media reports confirmed that it cost the treasury of the North West English club about thirty-three million pounds.
The 20-year-old is considered one of the emerging talents in European football, and was the focus of the attention of a large number of clubs before Everton managed to settle the deal, thus becoming Onana, the fifth to join the ranks of the blue team during the summer transfers, in an attempt to strengthen his ranks in the best possible way. To avoid repeating the scenario of last season, when the ancient team survived relegation in the penultimate round of the season.
