Chelsea have announced the signing of Cesare Casadei from Inter Milan.
The 19-year-old signed a six-year transfer contract.
According to Sky Sports, the deal cost Chelsea around 15 million euros plus 5 million extras.
The Italian player can play in all midfield positions.
Cassidy was included in the Inter first-team squad for several matches last season, but he did not participate for any minute.
He played 105 matches with the youth teams of Inter Milan in different age groups.
During which he scored 40 goals and assisted eight others.
Cassidy will be Chelsea's fourth deal after Marc Cucurella, Kalidou Coulibaly and Raheem Sterling.
