Liverpool won the FA Shield by defeating Manchester City 3-1, Saturday, at King Power Stadium in Leicester.
Liverpool took the lead in the 21st minute through Trent Alexander-Arnold, but City's newcomer Julian Alvarez equalized the score 70 after coming on as a 12-minute substitute.
In the 83rd minute, the Egyptian star Mohamed Salah scored the second goal from a penalty kick, and a few seconds before the end, the Uruguayan added another newcomer to the Reds, Darwin Nunez, 94.
This is the first title for German coach Jurgen Klopp in the FA Shield with Liverpool, and 16 in general for the Reds.
