Spanish media reports revealed that the transfer of Polish Robert Lewandowski to Barcelona was completed successfully, noting that the official announcement will be within the next few hours.
According to Spanish radio station Cadena Ser, Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Lewandowski reached the final agreement during the early hours of Saturday morning.
She explained that the Bavarian club's management agreed to the offer it had always been asking for, which amounted to 50 million euros, including incentives.
She added that Barcelona will pay the Polish striker 45 million euros, in addition to another 5 million as additional incentives.
And the Spanish newspaper "AS" said that the 33-year-old will travel to Barcelona in the next few hours, and will sign a contract that ends in 2025 with the option to renew for another season.
The source expected that the official announcement would be made within the next few hours, before the start of the party organized by Bayern Munich, later today, Saturday, to present its new players, which will relieve Lewandowski of the "embarrassment of attendance."
On July 7, Barcelona president Joan Laporta revealed: "We made an offer to the player, we are waiting for a response, and we will see if it is positive."
It is worth noting that Lewandowski has been defending the Bavarian club's colors since 2014, scoring 344 goals.
