FC Rome President intervenes to settle the Wijnaldum deal

La Gazzetta dello Sport: Roma wants to convince PSG to sign Wijnaldum Dan Friedkin, 


Roma president, has entered into negotiations regarding PSG midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum.


Dan Friedkin, the Roma president, has entered into negotiations to include the Dutch midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum.


 Roma started negotiations to include the Dutch midfielder some time ago, and Dan Friedkin is working on formally completing the deal.


 La Gazzetta Dello Sport revealed that Friedkin is working on finishing the deal as fast as possible since he has a friendship with PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.


The report mentioned the eagerness of both parties to complete the Transfer of Wijnaldum to Rome.


According to the Italian newspaper, PSG are ready to pay nearly half of Wijnaldum's wages to facilitate the player's transfer to Rome.


Roma aim at completing the deal as soon as possible as many other clubs in the Premier League are competing to sign the player.


Wijnaldum transferred to PSG last summer on a free transfer from Liverpool. 


Wijnaldum has played 38 games for PSG in all leagues, scoring three goals and assisting on 3.


According to Calcio Mercato, Mourinho had a phone call with the Dutch player and they had a conversation about transferring to Roma.


Wijnaldum intends to reduce his salary to conclude the deal and move to Roma.

Roma succeeded in including the Argentine Paulo Dybala on a free transfer after the end of his contract with Juventus.

The Argentine has played for Juventus in 291 games, scoring 115 goals and making 48 more.

The 28-year-old player is the fourth deal for Roma during the current transfers after signing Mile Svilar, Nemanja Matić, and Zeki Celik
