Barcelona announced its contract with the center of the defense of the Seville team, Jules Conde, in the current transfer market, with a 5-year contract until 2027.

The Catalan team had entered the race to sign the French star for a long time with the English club Chelsea, who had come close to obtaining Conde's services.

But Barcelona was able to settle the deal in his favour, to be the second deal in which he beat the Blues, after he kidnapped Rafinha before and took Andreas Christensen from them after the end of his contract.

Earlier, Catalan press sources confirmed Conde's arrival in Barcelona for medical examinations, in preparation for his joining the Blaugrana team.

What about the details of the transfer deal?

The Blaugrana has not yet announced the value of the contract agreed between the Catalan club and the Andalusian team for Conde's transfer.

But press reports had indicated earlier that it amounted to 60 million euros, by paying 50 million for the deal and the presence of 10 million as variables, and that Barcelona's superiority over Chelsea came due to the payment of money in an instant formula.

According to the newspaper "Mundo Deportivo", the French defender will receive a net 6 million euros per season.

Thus, Conde joins the team after returning from the preparatory round from the United States of America, to be ready in the Blaugrana match against the Mexican team Pumas, which will play on August 7.

What about the Barcelona transfer market so far?

Barcelona managed to have a very fiery transfer market, as it signed striker Robert Lewandowski, winger Rafinha, midfielder Frank Kissier, and defender Andreas Christensen, and renewed the contract of Ousmane Dembele on his terms.

The Blaugrana have finally signed defender Jules Conde from Sevilla, with clear interest in Chelsea right-back Cesar Azpilicueta.
