As announced by Juventus, Di Maria has officially joined the club after signing a one-year deal after finishing his contract with Paris Saint-Germain.
Juventus has incurred an additional €1.3 million until the summer of 2023, and the player will wear shirt No.22.
Di Maria goes back to wear his famous shirt No.22 that he used to wear while playing for the Royal club, Real Madrid, for five seasons; while playing for Manchester, he used to wear shirt No.7, and then No. 11 with PSG.
The player wears shirts No. 11 and 7 with the Tango. He ended their 28-year wait for a major title with his goal in the final, leading them to win the 2021 Copa America while wearing shirt No. 11.
After he arrived in Turin on Thursday, the Argentine winger concluded his medical tests and passed them before the compilation of the contract on Friday morning.
The 34- year old player will become one of Juventus' two most valuable free deals of the summer.
The second free deal for Juventus is the expired Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, who returned to Juventus, where he belongs. HE represented them between 2012-2016; he also arrived in Turin on Friday.
Di Maria leaves Paris after seven seasons in which he has played 295 times in all competitions for PSG, scoring 92 goals.
In seven seasons in the French capital, he has won 18 domestic titles and became a runner-up in the Champions League after Bayern Munich in the 2019-2020 season.
Di Maria joined Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2015 from Manchester United, after one year in England, from Real Madrid in the summer of 2014.
Juventus finished last season in fourth place, 16 points behind ac Milan.
