Junior Messias, the Brazilian striker, has been upgraded from the delivery man" rank to a football star in Serie A after Milan turned his loan clause into a permanent contract on Thursday.
Messias came from Crotone on a season-long loan, with an option to buy to Millan last summer, where he contributed to winning the Siri A title of the Lombardi by scoring five goals in 26 league appearances.
Milan has deposited Messias' contract with Serie A after renegotiating the purchase fee to a reported 4.5 million euros plus bonuses.
Messias' arrival at the highest levels of the round ball world was impressive as he began his career in Italy with amateurs. Messias' fast improvement in his performance in the football world was impressive for someone who started his career in Italy as an amateur.
He first moved to Italy to live with his brother in 2011 and rose through the lower reaches of Italian football, where he worked on transporting fridges for a living - before being picked up by then-Serie B club Crotone in January 2019.
He helped the Southern team up to Serie A, and two years ago, he scored nine times in 36 League appearances for the team, which went straight back down after a year in the top division. He was then able to play for seven-time European champions Milan on loan.
However, his beginning wasn't successful, with his transfer to Pro Vercelli, winner of seven league titles in the last century, which was banned because second-tier clubs were banned from signing players without European passports from the amateur leagues.
To earn his living, Messias worked as a delivery guy instead of going on holiday in the summer.
These sacrifices led to his transfer to the “San Siro” Stadium to defend the colors of one of the most famous clubs in the world and led him to win his first Scudetto since 2011 and the nineteenth in its history.
